Knockengorroch

We made our first band trip to Scotland this weekend to play Knockengorroch festival. We  played two different slots, one on Saturday evening and one Sunday day. We had an awesome time, had two great gigs, and everyone we met and spoke to was super friendly. Also during the evening we decided we’d make a fire, Dan and Chris wondered off to find fire wood, and in the process Chris nearly lost his leg, due to it plummeting into a marshy swamp. This just provided the rest of us with some more humour for the evening! Needless to say, the shoes got cremated on the fire! Cheers to Knockengorroch and the people that were there! I’ve attached a couple of photos from the festival.

We went straight from the festival back to our second home Doncaster, to watch a night at The Leopard, where Kismet Ryding, (who we supported in Cleethorpes recently, they’re awesome, and are all legends, definitely a band to check out.) Bang Bang Romeo, and headliners Dexters were playing. All three bands were great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening!

We also played Springboard festival in Cottingham on monday, which was cool too! So cheers to everyone that saw us down there. Next week we’ve got our live EP recording at The Leopard and Crooked Ways Festival which we’re all buzzing for!

Italy

So, we had an awesome time in Italy last week! We had two gigs in Milan and one in Varese, met some great people and will be back in April! After a couple of days recoving we’re back on the road. We played Nambucca in London last night with Missing Andy, Doncaster Leopard tomorrow, Scunthorpe Saturday and Wakefield Sunday.

We’re also looking forward to our hometown gig at The Drawing Room Taunton on the 20th to round off a great year!

Merry Christmas.

Autumn Update

With winter moving in fast, and no scheduled releases on the horizon, we thought it would be a good time to book a tour. It’s shaping up to be a good one! We’ve got dates booked from the end of november through to the last week of December, including a trip to italy. We’re hoping to end the tour with a hometown gig, but we’ve just had a set back with our original venue pulling out due to noise complaints from a previous night. But hopefully we’ll be back on track for that soon.

Dan picked up a new fuzz pedal from a really cool FX pedal company called Lateral Sound, which is sure to feature in our new songs, all of which we are recording demos for. Look out for the odd one popping up on Soundcloud and Facebook.

Here are a couple of photos, one of the set list we’re practising for the winter tour, the fuzz pedal and the Juno we’ve been adding to some of the new demos.

The tour dates will be posted up soon so keep your eyes peeled for that. Also, here’s the  website for Lateral Sound. http://lateralsound.com/

Our little three day tour

In three days we racked up nearly 750 miles trekking across the English countryside. We played shows in London, Doncaster and Kendal. We managed to get a look at the Angel of The north, and also drive past Darlington for the first time, since we unintentionally named our band after the town.

Anyway, I thought I’d post up a couple of snaps of the trip. We’ve got some exciting things on the horizon, so keep an eye out!
